Interesting Facts
The origin of the Michelada is unknown, but it is believed to have originated in Mexico in the 1940s.
The name Michelada comes from the Spanish phrase mi chela helada, which translates to “my cold beer”.
The Michelada is sometimes referred to as a “bloody beer” because of its red hue from the Worcestershire sauce and hot sauce.
