Ingredients
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried thyme
Salt and pepper, to taste
4 slices of cheese (optional)
4 hamburger buns
1 tomato, sliced
1/2 cup shredded lettuce
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 teaspoon mustard
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon hot sauce
Directions
In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
Place the chicken breasts in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 4-5 minutes per side, or until cooked through.
If using cheese, place the slices on top of the chicken breasts and cook for an additional 2 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
Place the hamburger buns on a baking sheet and toast in the oven for 3-4 minutes, or until lightly golden.
In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and hot sauce. Mix until well combined.
To assemble the sandwiches, spread the mayonnaise mixture on the toasted buns. Top with lettuce, tomato, and the cooked chicken breasts. Enjoy!
