Ingredients
- 1 cup of starter sourdough
- 1 ½ cup of warm water
- 3 cups of bread flour
- 2 teaspoons of salt
- 2 tablespoons of honey
Directions
- In a large bowl, mix together the starter sourdough, warm water, bread flour, and salt.
- Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until it is smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover it with plastic wrap. Let the dough rise for at least 1 hour.
- Once the dough has doubled in size, punch it down and knead it for a few more minutes.
- Form the dough into a round shape and transfer it to a greased baking sheet.
- Make a few slashes in the top of the dough and brush it with the honey.
- Bake the bread in a preheated 375°F oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
- Let the bread cool before slicing and serving.
