Ingredients
- 2 cups of flour
- 2 tablespoons of sugar
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 2 tablespoons of baking powder
- 3 eggs
- 2 cups of milk
- 1/2 cup of melted butter or vegetable oil
Directions
- In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, salt and baking powder.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk and melted butter or oil.
- Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix well to combine.
- Heat a waffle iron to the desired temperature and grease with a bit of butter.
- Pour enough batter to cover the bottom of the waffle iron and cook until golden brown and crisp.
- Repeat with the remaining batter.
- Serve with butter, syrup, fruit or your favorite toppings.
