Ingredients
- 1 (1-inch) thick steak
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Directions
- In a small bowl, mix together the chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cumin, brown sugar, black pepper, and salt.
- Rub the steak with the mixture on both sides.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the steak to the skillet and cook for 3 minutes on each side, or until the steak is cooked to your desired doneness.
- Remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
