Ingredients
- 1 cup strong coffee
- 1 cup Baileys Irish Cream
- 3 envelopes unflavored gelatin
- 1/2 cup cold water
- 1/2 cup sugar
Directions
- In a saucepan, combine the strong coffee and Baileys Irish Cream. Heat over medium heat until warm, but not boiling.
- In a separate bowl, sprinkle the gelatin over the cold water and let it sit for about 2 minutes to soften.
- After the gelatin has softened, add the sugar to the saucepan with the warm coffee and Baileys mixture. Stir until the sugar and gelatin have dissolved completely.
- Remove the saucepan from heat and allow the mixture to cool slightly.
- Pour the coffee and Baileys mixture into individual shot glasses, filling each glass about halfway.
- Place the shot glasses in the refrigerator and let them set for about 2-3 hours, or until the gelatin is firm.
- Once the gelatin is set, remove the shot glasses from the refrigerator.
- Pour the remaining Baileys Irish Cream over the set gelatin in each shot glass, filling the glasses to the top.
- Place the shot glasses back in the refrigerator and let them set for another 2-3 hours, or until the second layer of gelatin is firm.
- Serve the Baileys and Coffee Jell-O Shots chilled, and enjoy!
