These honey garlic ribs are melt-in-your-mouth tender and bursting with rich flavors. The combination of sweet honey and savory garlic creates a sticky glaze that coats the succulent ribs perfectly. This recipe is perfect for BBQ parties or weeknight dinners when you want to impress your family or guests. With just a few simple ingredients and easy preparation steps, you can create a mouthwatering dish that everyone will love.

Ingredients

  • 4 pounds of baby back ribs
  • 1 cup of honey
  • 1/2 cup of soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup of ketchup
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoons of ginger, grated
  • 1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Directions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, ketchup, minced garlic, grated ginger, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Place the ribs on a large baking sheet and generously brush both sides with the honey garlic mixture. Reserve some of the sauce for basting later.
  4. Grill the ribs for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until they are nicely browned and slightly charred.
  5. Lower the heat to medium-low or move the ribs to the cooler side of the grill. Brush the reserved sauce over the ribs and continue to cook for another 40-45 minutes, flipping and basting occasionally, until the ribs are tender and the internal temperature reaches 145°F.
  6. Transfer the ribs to a cutting board and let them rest for a few minutes. Sprinkle chopped green onions over the top for garnish.
  7. Slice the ribs between the bones and serve hot, drizzling any remaining sauce over the top.

Interesting Facts

  • Baby back ribs are the most tender and flavorful ribs, making them perfect for this recipe.
  • Grilling the ribs gives them a smoky flavor and caramelizes the honey garlic glaze, enhancing the taste.
  • Resting the ribs after cooking allows the juices to redistribute, resulting in juicier and more flavorful meat.
