Ingredients
- 1 can of refried beans
- 1 can of black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and finely chopped
- 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup of salsa
- 1 teaspoon of cumin
- 1 teaspoon of chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1/4 cup of chopped fresh cilantro
- Tortilla chips or fresh vegetables, for serving
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet, heat some oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onions and minced garlic and cook until they become soft and translucent.
- Add the jalapeno pepper, cumin, chili powder, salt, and black pepper to the skillet. Stir well to combine the spices with the onions and garlic.
