Ingredients
- 1 cup Arborio rice
- 4 cups whole milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup sliced almonds
Directions
- In a medium saucepan, combine the rice, milk, sugar, almond extract, and cinnamon. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally.
- Reduce the heat to low and simmer, stirring frequently, for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the rice is tender and the mixture is thick and creamy.
- Stir in the almonds, and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- Serve warm or cold.
