Ingredients

  • 1 head broccoli, cut into florets

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

  1. Place the broccoli and cauliflower florets in the Instant Pot.
  2. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  3. Stir in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes until lightly golden.
  4. Whisk in the milk and continue cooking until the mixture thickens.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in the cheddar cheese until melted and smooth.
