Ingredients

  • 1 lb. fresh crab meat
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • Oil for frying

Directions

  1. In a bowl, combine the panko breadcrumbs, parsley, Parmesan cheese, mayonnaise, lemon juice, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add the crab meat and mix until everything is evenly distributed.
  3. Form the mixture into small balls and set aside.
  4. In a shallow bowl, beat the eggs.
  5. Dip each crab ball in the egg and then roll in the panko breadcrumbs until evenly coated.
  6. Heat oil in a deep skillet over medium-high heat.
  7. Fry the crab balls in batches until golden brown, about 3 minutes per side.
  8. Drain on paper towels and serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
