Ingredients
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8-inch square baking pan.
- In a large bowl, combine the melted butter and sugars and mix until well blended.
- Add the egg and vanilla and mix until combined.
- In a medium bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Add the flour mixture to the butter mixture and mix until well blended.
- Stir in the brewed coffee and cinnamon until blended.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let cool before cutting into bars.
