Ingredients
6 large eggs, separated

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Directions
In the bowl of a stand mixer, beat the egg yolks on medium-high speed until light and fluffy.
Add the sugar, nutmeg, and cinnamon, and beat until combined.
Add the heavy cream and milk, and beat until combined.
Add the bourbon or brandy (if using) and beat until combined.
In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form.
Gently fold the egg whites into the eggnog mixture.
Chill for at least 2 hours before serving.
Garnish with ground nutmeg, if desired.
