- 2 cups all-purpose flour

Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan and set aside.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, beating until combined after each addition.
- Add the mashed bananas and vanilla extract, and beat until combined.
- Slowly add the dry ingredients, scraping down the sides of the bowl as needed.
- Fold in the walnuts and ginger.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 40-45 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
