2 cups fresh strawberries, chopped into 1/2-inch pieces
1/2 cup butter
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup milk
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
In a large bowl, mix together 1/2 cup sugar, 3 tablespoons flour, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Stir in rhubarb and strawberries. Pour into an 8 inch square baking dish.
In a medium bowl, cut butter into 1 cup flour, baking powder, salt, and 1/2 cup sugar until crumbly. Stir in milk until mixture is moistened. Drop spoonfuls of mixture over rhubarb and strawberry mixture.
Bake in preheated oven for 40 minutes, or until topping is golden brown.
Serve warm.
