Ingredients

  • 1 package of ramen noodles
  • 1/4 pound ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Optional toppings: cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, mayo, ketchup

Directions

  1. Cook the ramen noodles according to package instructions, then drain and rinse under cold water. Set aside.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and beaten egg. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  3. Divide the beef mixture into two equal portions. Shape each portion into a patty about the same size as the cooked ramen noodles.
  4. Heat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Brush the vegetable oil on the bottom of the air fryer basket to prevent sticking.
  5. Place the beef patties in the air fryer basket and cook for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they reach your desired level of doneness.
  6. While the patties are cooking, lightly grease two ramekins or oven-safe bowls. Divide the cooked ramen noodles between the ramekins, pressing them firmly to form buns.
  7. After the patties are cooked, place each patty on top of a ramen bun in the ramekins. Top with cheese if desired.
  8. Return the ramekins to the air fryer and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese has melted and the ramen buns are crispy.
  9. Carefully remove the ramekins from the air fryer (they will be hot) and allow them to cool slightly before using a knife or spatula to remove the ramen bun burgers.
  10. Serve the Ramen Bun Burgers with your favorite toppings, such as lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, mayo, and ketchup. Enjoy!
