Ingredients

  • 6 eggs
  • 1/2 cup Gruyere cheese, shredded
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray

Directions

  1. Preheat your sous vide machine to 172°F (77.8°C).
  2. In a blender, combine the eggs, Gruyere cheese, heavy cream, salt, and pepper. Blend until smooth.
  3. Spray the inside of 6 sous vide egg bite molds with cooking spray.
  4. Divide the crumbled bacon evenly among the molds.
  5. Pour the egg mixture over the bacon in each mold, filling them about 3/4 full.
  6. Cover the molds with aluminum foil and place them in the preheated water bath.
  7. Cook the egg bites for 30 minutes.
  8. Carefully remove the molds from the water bath and let them cool slightly.
  9. Run a knife around the edge of each mold to loosen the egg bites, then gently pop them out.
  10. Serve warm and enjoy!
