Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar

Directions

  1. In a heavy-bottomed pan, heat ghee over medium heat.
  2. Add wheat flour to the pan and roast it until it turns golden brown and releases a nutty aroma.
  3. In a separate saucepan, heat water and sugar until the sugar dissolves completely to make a sugar syrup.
  4. Slowly pour the sugar syrup into the roasted wheat flour while stirring continuously to avoid lumps.
  5. Cook the mixture on low heat until it thickens and starts leaving the sides of the pan.
  6. Add chopped nuts and mix well.
  7. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly before serving.
