- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup caramel macchiato espresso powder
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x5-inch (23x13 cm) loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, mix together the mashed bananas, melted butter, and sugar until well blended.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the baking soda, salt, cinnamon, flour, and caramel macchiato espresso powder.
- Stir the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just blended.
- Fold in the chopped walnuts, if desired.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean.
- Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before removing to cool completely on a wire rack.
