- 2 slices of baguette
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 2 slices of mozzarella cheese
- 1-2 fresh tomatoes, sliced
- 10-15 fresh basil leaves
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Preheat a skillet or grill pan to medium-high heat.
- Brush both sides of the baguette slices with olive oil.
- Place the slices in the skillet and cook until golden brown, about 1-2 minutes per side.
- Remove the slices from the skillet and place them on a plate.
- Top one slice of the baguette with mozzarella cheese slices, tomatoes, and basil leaves.

- Top with the remaining slice of baguette and press down lightly.
- Return the sandwich to the skillet and cook until the cheese is melted and the sandwich is golden brown, about 1-2 minutes per side.
