Ingredients

  • 2 cups steel-cut oats
  • 4 cups water
  • 2 apples, peeled and chopped
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Directions

  1. In a slow cooker, combine oats, water, apples, cranberries, walnuts, honey, cinnamon and nutmeg.
  2. Stir until everything is well combined.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.
  4. Stir and serve warm.
