Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/4 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon allspice
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts

Directions

  1. In a medium saucepan, bring the water to a boil over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the oats and reduce the heat to low. Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Add the pumpkin puree, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cloves, and allspice. Stir to combine.
  4. Simmer for an additional 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Stir in the maple syrup and walnuts.
