Directions
In a medium bowl, combine the Oreo cookie crumbs and melted butter. Press into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
In a medium bowl, mix together the pumpkin puree, cream cheese, granulated sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg until smooth. Spread over the Oreo crust.
In a large bowl, whip the cream until stiff peaks form. Add the powdered sugar and continue to whip until completely combined. Spread the whipped cream over the pumpkin layer.
Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving. Garnish with pumpkin spice and/or chocolate chips, if desired.
Interesting Facts
This pumpkin patch dirt cake is a great way to use up leftover pumpkin puree.
You can swap out the Oreo crust for a graham cracker crust if desired.
