Ingredients

  • 1 pound of ground beef
  • 1 packet of taco seasoning
  • 1 14.5 ounce can of diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup of diced onion
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 teaspoon of chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 2 cups of shredded Mexican cheese blend
  • 1 9 inch prepared pizza crust

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until it’s no longer pink. Drain off the fat.
  3. Add the taco seasoning, diced tomatoes, onion, garlic, chili powder, cumin, black pepper, red pepper flakes, and salt to the skillet. Stir to combine.
  4. Simmer for about 10 minutes, or until the mixture is thick and the flavors have blended together.
  5. Spread the beef mixture onto the prepared pizza crust and top with the cheese.
  6. Bake for about 20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Slice and serve.
