Ingredients
- 4 slices of bread
- 4 slices of ham
- 4 slices of cheese
- Butter, as needed
Directions
- Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
- Place the slices of bread, butter side down, in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Place one slice of ham and one slice of cheese on two of the slices of bread.
- Top the ham and cheese with the remaining two slices of bread, butter side up.
- Cook the sandwiches for 3-4 minutes, until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Carefully flip the sandwiches, and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, until the other side is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Remove the sandwiches from the skillet and enjoy!
