Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 (10.5-ounce) package miniature marshmallows
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 6 cups crisp rice cereal
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions
- In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
- Add the marshmallows and stir until completely melted.
- Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
- Add the cereal and stir until well coated.
- Press the mixture into a greased 13x9-inch baking dish.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, heat the chocolate chips for 1 minute, stirring every 30 seconds until melted and smooth.
- Spread the melted chocolate over the cereal mixture.
- Allow to cool before cutting into bars.
