Delicious and Classic Sugar Cookies Recipe

This recipe for sugar cookies is a family favorite passed down from my mom. These cookies are soft, buttery, and just the right amount of sweet. Perfect for holidays or special occasions, these sugar cookies are sure to be a hit with your family and friends.

Ingredients

• 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
• 1 cup granulated sugar
• 1 large egg
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 2.5 cups all-purpose flour
• 1/2 tsp baking powder
• 1/4 tsp salt

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
2. In a mixing bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
3. Beat in egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
