Ingredients
- 1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
Directions
- In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine all of the ingredients and stir to combine.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Once the sauce has cooked, remove from the heat and allow to cool.
- Once the sauce has cooled, use immediately or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.

- This sauce is great for making pizza at home but can also be used in other Italian dishes like lasagna and manicotti.
