Ingredients
2 tablespoons butter
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups chicken broth
1 cup cooked chicken, shredded
2 cups cornbread dressing
1 can (10.75 ounces) condensed cream of chicken soup
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F.
In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add onion and garlic and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
Add chicken broth and bring to a boil. Add chicken and cornbread dressing and cook for 2 minutes.
Stir in cream of chicken soup and black pepper and cook until heated through. Transfer to a 9x13 inch baking dish.
Sprinkle with cheddar cheese and bake for 30 minutes or until bubbly and cheese is melted.
Serve warm.
