Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup chia seeds
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup (optional)

Directions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the chia seeds and water.
  2. Stir vigorously to combine and make sure all the seeds are covered in water.
  3. Cover the bowl with a lid or plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  4. Stir in the maple syrup, if using, and mix until fully incorporated.
  5. Serve the chia gel as desired.
