Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup crushed cereal
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets.
- In a medium bowl, cream together the butter, white sugar, and brown sugar.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla. Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt; stir into the creamed mixture.
- Stir in the cereal and chocolate chips. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto the prepared cookie sheets.
- Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
