Get ready to celebrate Cinco de Mayo with these spicy and crunchy tostadas. This recipe features refried beans, seasoned ground beef, melted cheese, and all your favorite toppings piled high on a crispy tostada shell. It's the perfect dish to share with friends and family at your next fiesta.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet of taco seasoning
  • 1 can of refried beans
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1/4 cup sliced jalapenos
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 6 tostada shells

Directions

  1. In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  2. Add the taco seasoning and 1/4 cup of water to the skillet. Stir to combine and simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. In a separate saucepan, heat the refried beans until warm.
